Detailed Description: Witness the incredible work of protecting Sri Lanka’s marine life. Sri Lanka is a nesting ground for five out of the seven species of sea turtles in the world. On this tour, you will visit a dedicated hatchery where eggs are collected and protected from predators and poachers until they hatch.

You will get the unique chance to see turtles at various stages of life—from tiny hatchlings (1–3 days old) swimming in the tanks to injured adult turtles being rehabilitated. The highlight for many is the opportunity to gently hold a baby turtle and, depending on the time of day, watch them being released into the ocean. It is an educational and heartwarming experience for animal lovers of all ages.
